JAKE'S PARROT

La lectura d'anglès d'aquest segon trimestre és Jake's Parrot. És del nivell 1 de la col.lecció Dominoes i ja estem aprenent molt verbs en passat: regulars i irregulars.
Sinopsi en anglès:

When Jake Stevens goes to work for some months in Ireland, he feels happy. He loves travelling, and talking about his job - making computer games for BananaTech in America.

'Your new game's going to be the best thing at the Irish Computer Games Show!' people at BananaTech Ireland tell him.
But living with a noisy parrot isn't easy, and when Jake asks the most beautiful girl at work out to dinner, she says 'no'.
Then someone steals Jake's game the night before the show. Who - or what - can help him to get it back?

Com em puc concentrar?

El dimecres vam comprovar que les interrupcions constants o sentir una veu alta de fons no ens ajuda gens a concentrar-nos en la lectura. Perdem el fil i, pertant, també el temps. No sempre estem en silenci sepulcral, però de tant en tant ho hem d'intentar per entrar en un altre món (el del llibre que llegim) i imaginar-nos la història amb el màxim de detalls. Podem aconseguir-ho si practiquem. Aquest dimecres passat ho hem aconseguit una bona estona.

Què he llegit?

Avui l'ambient a l'aula no ha estat tan propici per a la lectura com altres dies, però uns quants alumnes han fet uns breus comentaris de Guguengol. No oblideu que els heu de penjar al mural virtual que tenim enllaçat al bloc.
Alguns s'han estranyat quan he dit que poden llegir revistes. còmics, diaris.... El que interessa és que entengueu tot allò que llegiu i per aconseguir-ho s'ha de practicar.

Aquest dimecres hi ha hagut un ambient amb força silenci per concentrar-nos en les nostres lectures. Llegir amb concentració fa que entenguem més els textos i així no perdem el fil de tot allò que passa; ens identifiquem amb els personatges i ens els imaginem amb tota mena de detalls.
Vull felicitar tots aquells que han propiciat aquest ambient tan relaxant.
